The set is designed for learning letters in a playful way. In the set you will find 30 letter boards (each with six letters), 26 letter & picture pals (each card has a letter, a word that starts with that letter, and a picture), and 30 tokens.

In the game, the children sit in a circle, and each child receives one letter board. The letter & picture pals are in a pile. The children take turns drawing a letter & picture pal, pronouncing the letter and word, and checking if they have the same letter on their letter card. If the correct letter is found, a token is placed on it. The child who first covers all their letters with tokens is the winner.

LETTER MASTER

Learn the Alphabet Easily!

The set includes the following materials in PDF format and A4 size:

  1. 30 letter boards – 15 sheets with letter cards, each sheet containing 2 cards, and each card has 6 letters in total.
  2. 26 letter & picture pals – cards with letters; each letter is accompanied by a picture and a word.
  3. 2 sets of tokens, each containing 15 tokens: one with multi-coloured designs and the other in a single colour. You can choose the one you prefer and print 3–4 sheets.

Print, cut along the cutting lines, and laminate.

How to play:

The game is intended for 2–8 children who have started learning letters. The children sit in a circle and each receives one letter board. You can give them 2–3 letter boards if there is a small group of children.

Shuffle the letter & picture pals and place them face down in a pile. The children take turns drawing a letter & picture pal from the pile, pronouncing the letter and word, and checking if they have the same letter on their letter board. If the correct letter is found, all the children in the group place a token on it if they have that letter on their letter board. The first child to cover all their letters with tokens wins. The remaining children can continue playing while the winner watches and pronounces the letters with the others. If there are only 2–3 children in a group, the game can end immediately, and new letter boards can be used to start again.

Each time a child draws a letter & picture pal, it is important that both they and the other players pronounce it.

Play this game multiple times, and you will see how quickly children learn the alphabet!
